HYLO CARE® – Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is HYLO CARE® compatible with contact lenses?
The eye drops from HYLO CARE® can also be used if you wear hard or soft contact lenses. The contact lenses can comfortably remain in the eye when applying the eye drops because HYLO CARE® does not negatively affect vision at all.
Apply one drop in each eye inside the lower lid as usual and then carefully close the eye to prevent the contact lens being flushed out. Avoid any possible reactions between HYLO CARE® and the contact lens cleaning solution you use by applying the drops at least 30 minutes after inserting the contact lenses.
-
When is it not recommended to use HYLO CARE®?
HYLO CARE® should not be used if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients (sodium hyaluronate, citrate buffer, sorbitol).
-
Can I use HYLO CARE® after surgery or if I have injured my eye?
HYLO CARE® eye drops can be used both after surgical procedures and in case of injuries to the eye. If you are unsure, ask your ophthalmologist for advice.
-
How often and for how long can I use HYLO CARE®?
